ABOUT THE OUTFITTER
For the past 11 years, Thor Stacey, owner of Arctic Alaska Adventures, has offered exclusive backpack sheep and grizzly bear hunts. His hunting concession, located in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR), is large and extremely remote, allowing hunters a rare chance to see Alaska’s high arctic and experience hunting on the pristine North Slope of the Brooks Range.

Arctic Grizzly Bear
Grizzly bears are abundant in the area, with trophy-quality bears ranging between 7’-8’ and skull sizes as large as 23 13/16”. This unique hunt will position a hunter in prime grizzly country where there are opportunities to harvest grizzly bear, wolves and caribou for an additional trophy fee. Hunting is spot and stalk with a keen emphasis placed on harvesting mature boars larger in the 7’+ size class.
